You have now arrived at our holiday gite in Brittany and once thru the Breton red front door, the large tiled salon/dining room is filled with the carved wood furniture native to Brittany, complete with a stone fireplace, a large sofa, two comfortable reading chairs and an ottoman. The TV (UK TV), DVD’s with movie selections and CD player (CD’s from jazz to rock) are in their own armoir with board games, puzzles and cards for quiet evenings.

Outside & downstairs

The dining table seats eight and matches the antique buffet, carved with Breton figures.

Kitchen

The walls are rubbed a warm golden color and hung with tapestries. A step up from the dining area under the stone lintel is the large and modern kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave, Double sink, electric hob and dishwasher. In keeping with the age of the home are partially exposed stonewalls. We have a large kitchen farm table with bench to share a glass of wine while the cook is busy.

The walls in all the rooms have paintings and tapestries hung, with a decor displaying French life in the warmth and charm of Brittany.

Upstairs are two full baths, one with shower and one with a luxurious sunken bath. This bathroom also has a washer and tumble dryer.

Bathrooms

There are 3 double bedrooms that sleep 6. The rose room with a double bed, the green room with two singles, and the blue room with a queen size bed. All are well appointed with excellent mattresses, duvets, antique armoirs or dressers and hanging tapestries and paintings.

Bedrooms

You can park in the public lot next to the house in front of the town hall (Marie) or in our attached garage, which is also convenient to store bicycles. Off of the garage is the decked terrace with table and chairs and a BBQ, it’s stonewalls covered in ferns and a view of the church and clock tower.

We want all of our guests to enjoy their holiday in a home filled with all things Breton and feel that, for a time, they have a home in Brittany.
