Special places and tourist info
In Treguier the Cathedral Saint Tugdal dates back to the 15th Century and is one of the most beautiful cathedrals of Armorique. In Minihy-Treguier is the aquaduct over the river Guindy built in 1610. In Paimpol the Abbey du Beauport is a partly restored 13th Century abbey of the Premontre orders in a lovely coastal setting just 10 min from Paimpol’s charming port. In Ploezal Chateau La Roche Jagu is a 30 hectare estate overlooking the Trieux estuary open to viewing for a fee, with a creperie on site for dining under the spreading oak. The gardens here are worth seeing alone. Tel: 02 96 95 62 35
